A Brief History of Our Church

Evangelist Regina Evans was sent by God to Pembroke, Georgia. On February 2, 2000 the ministry began in Pembroke with Bible Study. Evangelist, Ethel Fripp, worked faithfully with Evangelist Evans for over four years.

The first service was held in the new building (House of Deliverance Evangelistic Center) on Wednesday night, September 13, 2000 at 7:00 P.M.

The first Sunday service was held on the 3rd Sunday, September 17, 2000 at 12:00 noon.

Our first revival was held October 2-11, 2000, Evangelist Regina Evans and Evangelist Ethel Fripp were in charge.

Our first Fellowship/Communion service was held on the 3rd Sunday, October 15, 2000 at 12:00 noon with Elder Errol Roach presiding.

In almost every Sunday service we would have a full house, so we knew it was time to search for a larger building in order for God to continue blessing.

We spoke with our pastor, Bishop Moses Lewis and we began the search. Since the Lord was blessing in the area we were in, we asked the Lord for a building in the same area. Our prayers were answered and today we are blessed with a larger building, along with the adjacent property. We anticipate great things happening in Pembroke as we continue to do the will of our Lord and Saviour!

In January 2014 the Lord blessed us to have our “Mortgage Burning”, for this we give God the Glory!

On Sunday March 1, 2015 at 4:00 PM we were once again blessed to have the dedication service of our now new addition and remodeling of the sanctuary. We thank God for allowing us to complete our task! God is sooooo GOOD!
